Get Involved - Volunteer Opportunities

There are several opportunities to serve but if you don't see a match below, give us a call and let us know what you would like to do. We can use your skills and gifts.

 

Client Advocate – counseling our clients one-on-one - training provided and required

Class Facilitator – facilitate education classes – all materials provided – no training.(1 + hours per week)

Mentors – discipleship and accountability, goal setting (1 + hours per week). Training provided

Receptionist – answering phone and data entry – training required and provided

Fundraising committee – help in the planning and execution of fundraising events.

Newsletter – skilled in Microsoft Publisher or equivalent and Constant Contact

Church Representative – to be the liaison between your church and our ministry keeping them informed of our needs and the great way God is working through the ministry.

 

Depending on the nature of the work you want to do, some training may be required. For example, advocates who counsel with clients must be willing to:
Attend a day of training (ex. – 9 – 3)
Commit to volunteering at least four hours per week
